The Brecksville Police Department Juvenile Division consists of a specially trained officer whose main duties are to work closely with the children of our community. The Juvenile Officer’s duties vary from being an investigator to an educator and everything in between. This Department strongly believes that it is important to build a positive and trusting relationship between the youth of the community and the police department. The Brecksville Police Department and the City of Brecksville offers and fully supports several programs that helps encourage these types of relationships. Safety Town and D.A.R.E. are two such programs. Ptlm. Mark Krzynowek is the Department's Juvenile Officer who investigates or follows up on all offenses committed by or upon juveniles. He also works closely with Cuyahoga County Juvenile Court and local Magistrates in all cases involving juvenile offenders.
