The Parade is back along with the Spectacular Santa Sing-a-Long with a Radio Show and Fireworks!

Sunday, November 26
It’s Brecksville’s Official Beginning of the Christmas Season
Yes, Christmas begins in Brecksville on Sunday, November 26th!! And to add to the celebration the Brecksville Christmas Parade is back with step off at 4:00 pm!! BUT, the parade will go in the opposite direction this time. It will begin at the square, the intersection of Routes 82 and 21, and head south on Route 21 to City Hall.
And of course there will be trophies for “best of” entries. The four categories will be, Santa’s Little Helper Award (a kids’ group or a Scout pack or troop,) Best in Reindeer Games, Most Festive Attire and All-Around Best of Show.
After the parade join Mayor Hruby behind City Hall for more fun. The Brecksville Broadview Heights Community Chorus will lead us in a few carols, then we will all be listening for sleigh bells because that will mean Santa Claus is arriving! Santa will entertain, then kids can get their picture taken with him. Frosty and Rudolf will be there too. There will be cookies and hot cocoa, we’ll learn who the parade winners are and the radio show will be playing holiday tunes all leading up to the countdown to the City’s spectacular holiday lights and fireworks show! You’ll be mesmerized by the bursting of dazzling colors and the sounds will thunder in your chest. The sound system surrounding City Hall will blast music with the fireworks!
There’s plenty of parking at the Community Center, Library, across from the Fire Station, behind PNC Bank, and the Brecksville Town Center parking lot.
See you on the 26th!
