Safety Town
In the summer months, the Brecksville Police Department offers Safety Town for town residents to educate children on everyday safety. For questions, please call Sgt. John Chrisopulos at 440-526-8900.

Shop with a Cop
Every December, dozens of members of area departments volunteer their
time to this program to help all children have a brighter holiday.


Home Gun Safety
Project Childsafe supplies the Police Department with gun locks
to distribute free of charge to those in need.


Halloween Safety Patrol
Every year, local HAM radio operators volunteer their time to the community and assist Brecksville Police by visiting area neighborhoods watching for suspicious activity

TAP
The Brecksville Police Department conducts TAP (Terrorism Awareness and Prevention) training throughout the year. The program is intended to give citizens reasonable ways to practice heightened awareness with regard to terrorism and criminal activity and how to report such activity. This training is part of the CERT effort between the Police and Fire Departments. If you are interested in this training, please contact either Sgt. Bill Goodrich or Detective James Lobenthal at 440- 526-8900.
