Sergeant Bill Goodrich and Sunny

Sergeant Bill Goodrich began his law enforcement career with the City of Brecksville in August of 1988. He took over the police K-9 unit in 2007, and was paired up with his partner Sunny. Sunny is a purebred black, tan and red German Shepherd imported from the Czech Republic. He was born on 12/23/99 and weighs 92 pounds. Sunny is trained for handler protection, location and apprehension, narcotics detection, tracking, and article search. This K-9 team is assigned to uniform patrol and is equipped with a special vehicle for Sunny’s comfort and safety.

Sunny retired and now lives with Sergeant Bill Goodrich.
